From each charge/church: Lay Leader, Council Chair (or equivalent), Church school superintendent, UM Women president, UM Men president, District steward, Lay member of Annual Conference, and at-large members to District Conference. District Officers: District Trustees, District Treasurer, District Lay Leader, District UM Women president, District UM Men president, District Youth Council representative, District Coordinators of Children, Youth, Young adult, Adult, and Family Ministries. Five youth members and five young adult members. | What About Voting? For those attending virtually via Zoom, you will be able to vote using Zoom’s poll feature. An online ballot is being created for the election of At-Large Members to the 2021 Annual Conference. For those attending via phone, time will be provided for you to vote “yes” or “no” on items. A paper ballot will be mailed to you to vote for At-Large Members to the 2021 Annual Conference. If some church leaders choose to attend together in one location, they can request a paper ballot, or they can use the online voting feature by taking turns. More detailed information will be sent to each person who registers to attend the 2020 District Conference. What about the Packet/Information? A Digital Packet will be sent out to those who register the week of October 12, 2020. This will provide those attending a chance to review the reports and the list of nominees for District At-Large Members to the 2021 Annual Conference. This packet will be mailed to those who are planning to attend via phone and provide their mailing address upon registration. If you have questions, you can reply to this email.  |
