Dear Pastors/Lay Leaders/Music Staff of the Elizabeth River District,
We are excited to share with you an opportunity for churches in the Elizabeth River District to share in compiling a District-Wide Good Friday worship experience based on the 14 Stations of the Cross.
You’re invited to participate: interested churches are asked to review the Google Sheet linked below, choose a station and sign up on the Google Sheet by February 12, 2021.
We are seeking fourteen churches to assist by providing the following for their chosen station: ministerial prayer; station reading; a musical contribution that reflects the station or a general Lenten song (traditional choir, children’s group, praise band, handbells, soloists, etc.). The total time per church would be approximately 4.5 minutes.
Churches are asked to submit video or audio recordings. Churches may add their own expressive, creative touches with their submissions, as desired.
We would love a variety of music, settings, and member participation. We will place the submissions in order to produce a full Good Friday Worship Service that will be shared with all participants and to all ERD churches.
As there are only 14 stations available, this is a “first come, first serve” style of sign up. Should you wish to participate but are unable to provide music (wish to do a station reading and/or ministerial prayer), please indicate that, as well. We would love to see as many of our Elizabeth River District Churches take part in this special worship service.
Click this link to view the Stations and Scripture Readings Please sign up in the labelled columns and add the requested information by February 12, 2021. We want to ensure that we do not duplicate musical choices.

You will access the “submission folder” for the station to upload your video/audio files, in any format, for final editing. These items should be uploaded no later than Friday, March 19th.
For all music submissions, please include Title, Composer/Arranger, Publishing Company, and your churches’ copyright license information (ex. – CCLI #00000; OneLicense A00000).
We look forward to sharing this HOLY day with our district churches, friends, and family.
Blessings,
