Victor Drummond

Rev. Victor J. Drummond III is the pastor of Adams United Methodist Church in Parksley, VA and Mears Memorial United Methodist Church in Keller, VA of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Appointed at just 21 years old, he now serves at age 23 in the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Rev. Drummond answered the call to ministry at the age of 20, recognizing a shift in the church—it no longer reflected people who looked like him in age, background, and the local community. He felt a divine prompt to be the change, returning the church to its community-centered mission. He is passionate about building churches that are accessible, welcoming, places for all ages, and community-centered.

Rev. Drummond leads with the core values of significance, individualization, and influence. His gifts in outreach, community building, and relational leadership helped shape the vision of a church that lives out its faith beyond Sunday mornings—being the hands and feet of Christ in the world.

“We’ve come this far by faith—not looking back, but pressing forward, together.”

He is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, beginning right in the heart of the Eastern Shore.

Stephanie Kimec-Parker

I was loved and raised at St. Mark's UMC in Midlothian Virginia. This church made a commitment to love children and youth and I was blessed receive that love and support. I graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University and then Wesley Theological Seminary. After seminary, I served as a US-2 young adult missionary in Los Angeles California. For the last 11 years, I've been blessed to serve as a pastor in this area, serving first at New Creation UMC as an Associate Pastor and most recently at The Gathering at Scott Memorial UMC. I'm married and we have a dog, Cheddar. I'm an ordained elder and very excited to serve as the Coordinator for Church Revitalization in our district!
