Where would you find pontoon boat rides out on Occohannock Creek, a magic performance, Carnival Bingo games, Limbo challenges and hayrides around camp? Well, if you were “Under the Big Top” you would have experienced that and much more. Special Camp where everyone’s Special is a week to celebrate fun, faith and food with adults with intellectual disabilities. Volunteers and pastors from all over our district made this a reality to the 65 participants who registered. We averaged 48 each day and had an awesome time at Occohannock on the Bay.
Many thanks to our district UMM who sponsored our cookout and to the many churches, individuals and Sunday School classes who donated to make this 34th annual camp a glory filled moment for so many.
